Pleasant stay, room was very clean. I did not like just having the curtain across the bathroom instead of a door. Fine just for one person, but from a privacy point of view, I suggest a door. Good to be able to just leave early next morning, no fuss. Yes, it suited us nicely.

We have used the accommodation at Annelines Guest House twice now for overnight accommodation and have not yet been disappointed. The hostess is friendly and thorough regarding the arrangements and her welcome. The facilities were clean, comfortable and tidy. A bonus is that the guest house is within walking distance of a very nice place to eat. We will definitely use the facilities again.

Wash in and out quickly. Was able to visit Gariepdam, rest well in chilled rooms and go out for a delicious meal at InniKraal. Would have welcomed a fresh bottle of water and maybe some biscuits, and a quick dip in the pool which wasn't really clean, but otherwise very pleasantly surprised.
Very nice, everything was comfortable, neat and tidy. The pool was a plus in the hot weather. Maybe just consider a mobile braai for those who depend on it.
It was very nice, beautiful and clean. Walking distance from all the places to eat. Safe parking, very friendly owners. Only one thing that bothered is room no. 4 in which we stayed. Outside lights shine into the room all night and lights from cars coming in late also shine directly into the room. "Block Out" curtains will help a lot.
We were warmly welcomed and felt right at home. The hosts were friendly, helpful and kind. Even though we booked for only one night, we felt like we could stay forever. We enjoyed a lovely dip in the pool after a long warm drive. The air conditioning was just the cherry on the cake. In a nutshell, when passing through Colesberg again, Annelines Guest House is the only place we will stay.

On arrival the hostess was in bed after an operation and the daughter had to receive us in a dressing gown because she herself was sick with a cold. Outside, a man (the owner?) was waiting for us bare-chested in the cold. The reception was not professional and appropriate.

Anneline made an effort to hear what time she could expect us. It is not modern, but very neat and clean and everything you need for a night or two's sleepover is there.

I was pleasantly surprised the whole street leading to Annelines is well-kept compared to the rest of town. Like an oasis. All the attention to detail to make this room and bathroom look pretty and homely but yet modern. You feel welcome to just lie down and chill. The bar fridge was a lovely surprise. The value for money was well worth it. I definitely will be back!
Only had one problem. Kettle didn't work, so morning coffee before we left was not possible.

Although the linen was clean and the bed comfy, the shower door was missing altogether, shower drain was loose and everything could be dusted and cleaned thoroughly. Instant coffee provided was awful, with creamer. Basic. No card machine available, balance was settled with cash.

Our first visit to Colesberg was certainly a pleasant one and the safe and comfortable accommodation, along with our visit to Bordeaux, one to stay with for a long time. This was an overnight stop on the way to Addo Elephant Park. It had everything we needed & was clean. The host personally welcomed us and gave us a call to confirm what time we would book in. Restaurant opposite guesthouse, although we did not eat out. Menu's of restaurants in the room to help you make your choice.

It was really a very pleasant stay in a good guest house that we will use again. We spent the night in a spacious room equipped with an air conditioner and an adjoining large bathroom with a nice shower. The host made us feel really at home and even gave us garden plants that can survive heat and drought when we left. Our stay there was truly a pleasant experience with a restaurant located about 100 meters away on the same street. Our vehicle was securely locked behind a gate.

I spent only one satisfactory evening at Anneline's hole house. On my way to Gauteng from the Western Cape, it was the ideal place to spend the night and just rest well before I embarked on the next half of my journey. Since I was traveling alone it was also the safest thing to do and I would definitely recommend it as an overnight destination for any long distance traveler.

The room was tidy and everything it in in good working order. There is a security gate in front of each room, and also ample parking behind the security gate - thus you can leave some stuff in the car that you don't need for the night. Across the street from the guesthouse is a very nice restaurant with a great menu and atmosphere. I just crossed the street to it. Anneline was very helpful and always available. I had car problems the day before I had to leave, and my travel was delayed for 2 days. Anneline was kind enough to move my booking without question. I was so grateful, and I have already recommended her to a friend.

I have never received such friendly service at a guesthouse. My grandmother and I was on our way from Mpumalanga and Anneline phoned me twice to make sure that we are safe, because there were rain on the way. The room is very clean and neat, nice and cosy and I could not get enough of the artwork. Did need a microwave though for heating the milk in the morning before we attempted our long journey. We had to look at the prettily laminated menus that were set out for us. It was a good stay-over.

She welcomed us, personally showed us to our unit, explained everything, and handed us a take away menu of a local restaurant that delivers. The unit was clean, neat, comfortable, and safe. There are many repairs that need to be done e.g. the bathroom light that has no shade and the water damage on the walls and ceiling. The other guests were noisy.
Annelines is very neat and centrally located. The room was spacious and clean. We did have to pay R150 a night for an 11 month old baby.

Very safe parking, central position from the N1 and a very nice room. Full DStv package, mini fridge and air-conditioning was more than we were expecting and a modern bathroom and very nice linen. Thanks Anneline!
Spacious, neat and clean. Ideal for an overnight stay on the way to Cape Town or Gauteng.
It is perfect for those after a cheap, quick, budget accommodation. Felt like a school dorm room, though Anneline was very kind.

After a long drive, a very friendly, warm hostess was waiting for us! The room is beautiful and met all our requirements. The bathroom is modern and fully stocked with soft, fresh towels. The safe parking of our car reassured us to be able to enjoy a wonderful night's rest. When we left, our hostess, Anneline, was there again to wish her guests a safe journey.
Would recommend people to stay there.
It's literally just a place to sleep over for a trip from Cape Town.
We had a very nice stay. It's spacious with a nice bed with electric blanket and nice bedding. Everything was pretty clean. There is an air conditioner, TV, refrigerator, microwave oven, bath and shower, and full floor carpet.
Booking was very easy, and the accommodation was immediately available. The room was neat and practical. Their service was also friendly.

Beautiful and relaxing stay with friendly company.
A bit expensive compared to other guesthouses. We expected more, and it's not that wheelchair friendly. The carpet is too thick and uncomfortable to move on. The bath has no hand shower and no ramp (slope) up to the room. Someone in a wheelchair going there alone will not get along. Otherwise it was a pleasant atmosphere and place.
